E. Regina Turner
E. Regina Turner, 87, of Ellwood City, died on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, in the Passavant Retirement Center, Zelienople.
Born in Rose Point on May 7, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Lillian Bleakney Wimer. With her husband, Ken, she founded the Turner Funeral Home, now run by her sons.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth C. (and Pam) Turner of Ellwood City, and Jack R. (and Gretchen) Turner of New Castle; four grandchildren, Brett, Kasey (and Erica), Ian and Keelan Turner; a brother, J. Philip (and Lori) Wimer of Ellwood City; a sister, Carole (and Ken) Starz of Volant, and a sister-in-law, Patsy Wimer of Middle Lancaster.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, Kenneth C. Turner, on March 2, 1991, and by a brother, Richard Wimer.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. March 10 at Turner Funeral Home, Sixth Street at Park Avenue, Ellwood City.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on March 11 at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
