Lois E. Todd

Lois E. Todd, 84, of Golden Hill Nursing Home died the morning of Oct. 9, 2006, in Jameson Hospital.

Born Sept. 18, 1922, in Johnstown, she was the daughter of the late Rubin M. and Mabel Claire Duncan McKelvey.

She married Harold L. Todd on Nov. 18, 1945. He survives.

Mrs. Todd retired as a kindergarten teacher in the Ellwood City Area School District. She graduated in 1940 from Westmont High School in Johnstown and in 1944 from the former Lock Haven State Teachers College. Mrs. Todd was Protestant.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Claire E. Todd of Skillman, N.J.; two sons, Edward A. Todd of Selinsgrove, Pa., and Glenn D. Todd of New Castle; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald McKelvey.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Oct. 21 at the Turner-Myers Funeral Home, 208 N. Jefferson St. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Oct. 21 at the funeral home. The Rev. Dennis L. Bupp, Jameson Hospital chaplain will officiate.
