Albert M. Ryhal
Slippery Rock Township resident Albert M. Ryhal, 53, of Firehall Road, Princeton, died the morning of Oct. 19, 2004, at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born Dec. 3, 1950, in Grove City, he was a son of the late Wayne F. and Rose Ann Zook Ryhal.
He married the former Susan Durant April 23, 1977. She survives.
Mr. Ryhal worked in maintenance at Wal-Mart. He also worked in the shipping department at the former Alsy Lighting.
Mr. Ryhal was raised by his late grandfather, Earl Zook, who he considered his father.
He was a social member of VFW Post 315 and belonged to the Slovak Club.
Mr. Ryhal was Protestant.
In addition to his wife, survivors include four daughters, Tina Miller of Butler, Tracy Braho of Edinburg, Tammy Lee of Cleburne, Texas, and Brittany Ryhal, at home;: two half brothers, Robert Carron and Richard Carron, both of New Castle; and eight grandchildren.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Turner-Myers Funeral Home, 208 N. Jefferson St. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Dr. E. Charles Smith, former pastor of Harbor Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hermon Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Institute in Pittsburgh.
