Donald H. Robison
Union Township resident Donald H. Robison, 75, of Harbor Village Drive, Edinburg, died the morning of Feb. 18, 2005, in Jameson Hospital.
Born Aug. 25, 1929, in New Castle, he was a son of the late Lewis and Nancy Ruth Brest Robison.
He married the former H. Joan Brickner on June 9, 1951. She survives.
Mr. Robison was a retired engineer. He had worked for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad for 35 years.
A 1948 graduate of New Castle High School, he was a veteran of the Korean War, serving as a staff sergeant in the Air Force.
Mr. Robison attended First Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Kay Portlock of Las Vegas and Carol Kaufman of New Wilmington; three sons, Donald K. Robison of Pulaski, Richard C. Robison of New Castle and Mark S. Robison of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Harold Robison and Lee Robison, both of New Castle; three sisters, Lauretta Black, Edith Christman and Virginia Anderson, all of New Castle; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, F. Gussie Smith; and a brother, David Robison.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Turner-Myers Funeral Home, 208 N. Jefferson St. A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. John Yergan of First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
