Gladys I. Murincsak
Gladys I. Murincsak, 76, of Shaffer Road, Slippery Rock Township, died the morning of April 23, 2004, at Jameson Hospital.
Born Oct. 25, 1927, in West Pittsburg, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary E. Rickey Stickle.
She was married for 54 years to Andrew Murincsak Jr. They were married April 21, 1950. He survives.
She was a homemaker and well known as an Avon Lady.
Mrs. Murincsak attended Pilgrim Baptist Church in Union Township.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Valeria Sacoulas of New Castle and Gayle Mezza in Virginia; one son, Mark Murincsak of New Castle; one brother, Ernest Stickle of Volant; and three sisters, Marie Wiley of New Castle, Lucille Freed of West Pittsburg and Ida Rogan of Madisonville, Ky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Andrew Murincsak, in 1957 and one sister, Violet Shalanberger.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Turner-Myers Funeral Home, 208 N. Jefferson St.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, Pastor Michael Nail of the Pilgrim Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Greenwood Methodist Cemetery, Energy.
