Anna Belle McClymonds
Former Rose Point resident Anna Belle McClymonds, 90, died the morning of Nov. 7, 2006, in Creek Meadows Nursing Home, Zelienople.
Born Aug. 3, 1916, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late George V. and Sara Eva Houk Gibson. She was married to John Weller McClymonds for 55 years. He died on Nov. 23, 1991.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Slippery Rock Township. She was a member of Center Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Alice Rubright of Harmony; three sons, William C. McClymonds of New Castle, David R. McClymonds of New Castle, and James R. McClymonds of Baden; 22 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, John W. McClymonds and Henry McClymonds; a brother, William Gibson; and a sister, Jennie Miller.
Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. tomorrow at Turner-Myers Funeral Home, 208 N. Jefferson St. A service will begin at 7 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. The Rev. Peggy Suhr-Barkley of Zion Lutheran Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
