Florence M. Lewis
Florence M. Lewis, 88, of Blossom Lane, Neshannock Township, died at 1:15 a.m. June 21, 2006, in Jameson Care Center.
Born April 15, 1918, in Chicago, she was a daughter of the late Edward W. and Margaret Roberts. She was married to Trevor Gwin Lewis. He died in 1999.
Mrs. Lewis was a retired secretary at the Harry W. Lockley Primary Center with 30 years of service. She was a member of the Jameson Junior Guild, Jameson Hospital Auxiliary, Wimodausis, American Business Women’s Association and the Public School Employees Retirees Association.
Mrs. Lewis was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and its Trinity Guild.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ted and Sally Lewis of Superior, Colo., and Bob and Cathy Lewis of Ellwood City; a brother, Lester Roberts of Las Cruses, N.M.; a sister, Elinore Wellar of Mundalien, Ill.; and four grandchildren, Robert Lewis, Eric Cordi, Maggie Tkatch and Annie Stover.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Roberts.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Turner-Myers Funeral Home, 208 N. Jefferson St.
A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Episcopal Church. The Rev. Dennis Blauser, rector of the church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church.
