Margaret A. Lemke
Margaret A. Lemke, 85, formerly of Howland Township, Ohio, died the afternoon of Oct. 20, 2007, in Rhodes Estates.
Born April 23, 1922, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Bartko Szabo.
She was married to Jack F. Lemke, who preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 1985.
Mrs. Lemke was a retired English and home economics teacher, having taught at the Gordon James Career Centre in the Lordstown School System in Ohio.
She was a graduate of Orange High School in Cleveland and Ohio University. She was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, AAUW and Panhelenic Association.
She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Warren, Ohio, and its Altar Guild.
Survivors include a daughter, Gretchen Turner of New Castle; a son, Jack F. Lemke Jr. of Lawrence, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
A sister, Marie Szabo, and a brother, Joseph Szabo, preceded her in death.
Visitation is noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Church. A service will begin at 1 p.m. The Rev. Dennis A. Blauser will officiate. Burial will be in Fair Oaks Cemetery, New Wilmington.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donorís favorite charity.
