Edna Gertrude Graham
Edna Gertrude Graham, 93, formerly of East Fairmont Avenue, died the morning of March 2, 2008, in Golden Hill Nursing Home.
Born Jan. 22, 1915 in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late William and Edna 'Britton' Graham.
She was a teacher in Beaver County, worked in the accounting department at Flowline, and had worked at Shenango Presbyterian Senior Care. Miss Graham received her bachelor of arts degree from Westminster College and her masters degree from Geneva College. She was a member of Business and Professional Women, Daughters of the American Revolution, Wimodausis and Monday Music Club. Miss Graham belonged to Highland Presbyterian Church, where she was a former member of the session.
Survivors include a brother, William Graham of New Castle; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Graham in 1983.
Visitation is 10 to 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Turner-Myers Funeral Home, 208 N. Jefferson St. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. The Rev. William Blacksmith of Highland Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
