Louise Fisher, 77, of Perry Highway, Portersville, died the evening of Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, at Passavant Hospital, Cranberry.
Born Jan. 22, 1931, in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, she was a daughter of the late David Milton and Florence Aiken Harlan. She married Richard V. Fisher on Oct. 16, 1951. He survives.
Mrs. Fisher worked as head cashier and in the office of the former A & P Supermarket in New Castle. She was a member of Oak Grove Presbyterian Church, where she was a former elder.
In addition to her husband, survivors include one daughter, Cindy L. Speer of Portersville; one son, Gary L. "Fish" Fisher of Portersville; three brothers, Joseph Harlan of South Carolina, Arthur Harlan of New Castle and Lloyd Harlan of Princeton; one sister, Ethel Mayer Hogue of Princeton; six grandsons; and two granddaughters.
Calling hours will take place from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Turner-Myers Funeral Home, 200 N. Jefferson St., New Castle, Pa. 16101. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Oak Grove Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Marsha Parrish officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Herman Cemetery.
