C. Frank Walter
C. Frank Walter, 70, of Pulaski Twp. passed away at his residence the morning of March 29.
Born in Roaring Spring, PA. on June 5, 1942, he was the son of the late Frank R. and Mary 'Cook' Walter.
Frank graduated from Union High School and was a paratrooper in the Army's 101st Airborne Division. He drove long-distance trucks and was a member of Rapid Tappets. Frank was a Union Twp. Volunteer Fireman for many years, also serving as their Chaplain and Fire Policeman. He attended the Washington Union Alliance Church.
He is survived by his very special friend, Sandy Smith of Union Twp., two sisters; Belva Blews of New Castle and Susan L. Slick of Pulaski Twp. and five grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Eric.
A private graveside service is scheduled to be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday at Graceland Cemetery with Rev. Richard A. Noble of the Washington Union Alliance Church officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Union Twp. Volunteer Fire Department.
