Joseph W. Edgerton
Joseph W. Edgerton, 61, of East Euclid Avenue passed away at his residence. His body was discovered on Saturday, March 31, 2012.
Mr. Edgerton was born Feb. 10, 1951, in Johnstown to Paul L. Edgerton and Pauline Stewart Edgerton. His mother survives in Wampum.
He had worked for 27 years at Sparman-Fishler Co. and more recently as a truck driver for Castle Paving. He had served in the Marine Corps and was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Joseph W. Edgerton Jr. in Winston-Salem, N.C.; three daughters, Vicki Delien of Pittsburgh along with Kristin Moffatt and Beth Edgerton, both of New Castle; two brothers, Paul L. Edgerton Jr. of New Castle and William Edgerton of West Pittsburg; two sisters, Pauline Bunnell of LaVale, Md., and Patricia Stiver of Leesburg, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Hermon Cemetery with the Rev. Rex Wasser officiating.
