Paul E. Cameron

Youngstown Sheet & Tube retiree Paul E. Cameron, 86, of Rocky Road, Neshannock Township, died the afternoon of May 19, 2004, in Jameson Hospital.

Born March 28, 1918, in Edinburg, he was a son of the late Robert D. and Lillian Wilson Cameron.

He married the former Pauline Yelovach on Feb. 14, 1949. She survives.

Mr. Cameron was an Army veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance denomination.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Debby J. Shaffer of Somerset, Pa.; four sons, Paul E. Cameron Jr. of Lititz, Pa., Richard L. Cameron and Jack G. Cameron, both of New Castle, and David R. Cameron of Volant; a brother, William Cameron of New Castle; a sister, Naomi Mann of New Castle; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

There are no calling hours.

A private service is at 2 p.m. today at the Turner-Myers Funeral Home, 208 N. Jefferson St. The Rev. Harold "Bud" Green will officiate. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
