Marlene L. Hall

Marlene L. Hall, 80, of Wilmington Twp. passed-away at 11:30 pm Saturday, November 10 in the Jameson Hospital.

Marlene was born in New Castle on October 1, 1932 to the late Ralph and Mae 'Riley Mitchell. She married William Hall on September 4, 1954. He preceded her in death in 2002.

Marlene was a 1950 graduate of New Castle High School, a member of the Red Hats Society, and a member of the Shenango Presbyterian Church. Prior to marriage, she was employed as a secretary at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and after raising her family, as a sales clerk for Sear in the Shenango Valley Mall.

Survivors include her son; David Hall and wife Dawna of Pulaski Twp., two daughters; Rebbecca Kovacs and husband John of Hermitage and Karen Elder of Wilmington Twp., brothers; Dr. Donald Mitchell and wife Becky of Huntington, PA., Dr. Ronald Mitchell and wife Lindsay of Downingtown, PA., a sister; Nancy Hutchinson and husband Harold of New Castle, a sister-in-law Vallie Mitchell of Wilmington Twp., Mercer Co., grandhildren; Kevin, Andrew, and Stephen Isaac, David, Sam and Emma Kovacs, Megan Bara, Katie Elder, and Amy Hall. Three great grandchildren; Caleb, Cailee, and Tyler Isaac, and a special niece, Denise Yoho Guthery.

In death Marlene has been reunited with her husband, Bill, son Russell, brothers Stephen and Clinton Mitchell and sister Florence Yoho as well as members of her extended family and friends.

Services will be held at 11:30 am Wednesday at the Turner-Myers Funeral Home, 208 North Jefferson Street, New Castle and will be conducted by Marlene friend and pastor, Rev. Amy Na of Shenango Presbyterian Church.

Interment will be in Oak Park Cemetery
